Thornton man charged with possession with intent to deliver

KINGWOOD — Preston Sheriff’s deputies charged a Thornton man with possession with intent to deliver meth on April 4.
Juan Carlos Sanchez, 31, was in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail April 5 in lieu of $75,000 bond.
According to a criminal complaint by Deputy R.A. Stockett Jr.: The deputy saw Sanchez driving a black Ford Fusion on W.Va. 92 and knew Sanchez’s license was suspended for not paying citations.
He pulled Sanchez over, and a K-9 unit indicated there were narcotics present. Officers found a tin can in Sanchez’s pocket containing 6.5 grams of meth, “multiple” small plastic bags like those used to pand two pills.
