KINGWOOD — The Knights’ late game comeback came up just short, losing to Lincoln, 67-64, on Jan. 31.
“Lincoln was up by eight with about two minutes to go,” PHS coach Paul Koontz said. “We went into a full-court press and got it within two and then we just ran out of time.”
Cory Pyles hit six
3-pointers and netted
18 points and Monty Rebello added 16 for PHS (3-13), which visits Robert C. Byrd on Feb. 2.
“We’re playing with a lot of heart and looking to improve every game,” Koontz said. “Cory Pyles did a good job with 18 points, Monty Rebelo had 16. We’re a work in progress.”
