Preston voters to decide school levy in May

KINGWOOD — Preston voters will decide a school levy in May.

The board of education voted 4-0-1 on Jan. 22, with Board Member Robert “Mac” McCrum abstaining, to put a five-year, $2.42 million annual levy on the ballot.

The levy will be the same discussed by the board at earlier meetings, despite changes suggested at the meeting by two board members.
