A homeless man was arrested after a deputy allegedly caught him breaking into a vehicle at University Motors and admitted he’s been doing so for several weeks in an interview.Jereme D. Shrewsbury, 36, is charged with auto tampering and petit larceny by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department.Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, Deputy J. Babbling Brook Estates shooting victim identified

The woman shot and killed at Babbling Brook Estates on Wednesday has been identified as 51 year old Tamatha Pillo. According to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer, her stepfather, Donald Davis, 73, reported a domestic incident which resulted in Pillo, his stepdaughter, sustaining a single gunshot wound to the chest with a .380 caliber pistol. Pillo was taken to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital by Mon EMS where she died of her wound.
