FAIRMONT — A 25-year-old was making meth under a bridge in Fairmont, police say in an arrest report.

The Fairmont Police Department charged Christian Scott Atkinson, of Fairmont, with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory. He was arraigned in Marion County Magistrate Court on April 19 with bail set at $10,000.

According to his criminal complaint: Police gave a tip that a man was making meth under the Robert H. Mollohan-Jefferson Street Bridge.

They spoke to the man, Atkinson, who admitted to using drugs. Police also found various supplies to make meth.
