KINGWOOD — A Preston County jury found Kevin “Cat” Miller II guilty of wanton endangerment Feb. 8 in the 2016 shooting of his father, but not guilty of attempted murder.

The jury also found Miller, of Tunnelton, not guilty of malicious assault. It found him guilty of two counts of felony wanton endangerment: One regarding his father and the second including others who were present at the time gunfire was exchanged.

He was indicted in March 2017. The charges arose from an October 2016 incident at the home of his father, Kevin Monroe Miller, of Newburg. Police said Miller II shot his father in the back. The son was treated for a gunshot wound to the foot.
