MORGANTOWN — Morgantown will host the state’s first Solar Congress from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the WVU College of Law.

The day-long event is free and open to the public. Attendees can learn about solar energy, how to use it at home or work and how it can create local jobs.

Advocates will participate in a forum on solar energy in West Virginia. Breakout sessions will address a variety of other topics, including power purchase agreements, community solar and citizen lobbying.
