KINGWOOD — An Eglon man is charged with domestic battery after police say he hit his daughter’s face with a flashlight.

Neil Clark Delaney, 42, is also charged with driving on suspended or revoked license non-DUI. He was free July 17 on $6,000 bond.

According to the criminal complaint by Preston Deputy R.A. Stockett Jr.: On July 16 the victim said Delaney hit her face with a flashlight, then hit her vehicle. There was a red welt on her face and the vehicle was damaged.

The victim said Delaney had been driving up and down the road, yelling at her. The officer saw Delaney in a vehicle and stopped him, discovering that his license was suspended for unpaid citations.
