MORGANTOWN — The Monongalia County Board of Education held a meeting at noon, Nov. 28, in order to handle essential business.

Superintendent Frank Devono said the meeting was needed as without it, there would be too long of a gap between meetings and bills needed to be paid.

The board approved its consent agenda which contains items such as expenditures exceeding $3,000 and payment of salaries.

The next regular meeting will be Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.
