MILL CREEK — Reagan Sharp hit four 3-pointers and poured in 27 points Dec. 6 to lead Trinity Christian to a 65-43 girls’ basketball victory over Tygarts Valley.

Teammate Emily Saurborn knocked down 17 points for the Warriors (2-0), who pulled out to a 35-21 halftime lead on the way to victory in a tune-up for a big early season game.

“We’re scoring much better than last season,” Trinity coach Mike Baldy said, “but we’ve got to start playing better defense. We have Notre Dame coming up Saturday, that’s a big battle right there. Defense has to be better cause Notre Dame’s got some players.”

The Warriors host the Irish at 2 p.m.

Sharp was coming off a 37-point game in the Warriors’ opener.
