MORGANTOWN — Students got a taste of what it’s like to be an adult — at least financially — on Dec. 5 at Trinity Christian School.

Trinity juniors participated in Mad City Money, which gave the students a series of budgeting exercises with a hands-on approach.

Stacey Harvey, with Fairmont Federal Credit Union, said the two-hour activity was a good way to introduce the students to balancing their budgets when they join the workforce.

“Mad City Money is a budgeting simulation where we take the students into the future,” she said. “They’ve already graduated high school, college or a trade school, and they’re getting ready to start their first job in the career that they’ve chosen.”
