Trinity hosts Family Science Night

MORGANTOWN — Trinity Christian School hosted Family Science Night for Trinity kindergartners through fifth graders at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16.

Activity stations set up in the cafeteria, library and classrooms provided students with hands-on science exploration. Stations included experiments in invisibility, thin films, magnetics and ferrofluid, surface tension, Sphero, polarizers and comets. Science stations for third through fifth graders included magneticism, virtual reality and amazing Solar System.

The stations were set up by The Spark! Imagination Center, WVU Extension Youth and 4H department, NASA, WVU graduate students and Trinity staff.

According to Diana Kingsbury, Trinity Elementary principal, the night served as a celebration of science.
