Trinity spikers win two home matches

MORGANTOWN — The Trinity volleyball team defeated Tygarts Valley and Clay-Battelle, on Oct. 4.

The Warriors beat Tygarts Valley, 25-16, 25-11, before topping the Cee-Bees, 25-23, 25-23.

Regan Baker led Trinity (10-5) with 10 aces and 10 digs.

Emma Chase added 22 assists, while Rachel Rosen contributed 14 kills and 10 blocks. Kate Dlugos had 11 digs.

Clay-Battelle beat Tygarts Valley, 24-13, 25-11.

Alexis Pride registered 20 points and five aces. McKayli Naper had 15 points.

Maddie Pennington finished with 10 points, 12 kills and nine blocks.

C-B (10-10) plays again Oct. 11, at Valley Wetzel. Trinity learns Oct. 5 if it will play in the OVAC semifinals.
