MORGANTOWN — The Trinity boys’ soccer team gave a valiant effort in a 3-0 loss against South Harrison on Oct. 2.

Senior Adam Bennett netted South Harrison’s first and third goal to lead all scorers, while sophomore Anthony Colombo contributed the Hawks’ other goal.

Trinity head coach Chad Laskody talked about his team’s performance against a tough South Harrison squad.

“They’re a tough team,” he said. “The biggest thing they did that we didn’t is they hustled to the ball. We didn’t talk as well, didn’t communicate the way we should. It’s something we know how to do. I’ve preached it to them all season. We just took a step back tonight.”

Trinity Christian (2-10-1) is slated to travel to South Harrison (9-7), at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, before traveling to Maryland to face Bishop Walsh, at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6.
