KINGWOOD — Sentencing was rescheduled for a Rowlesburg woman charged with delivery of a Schedule III narcotic. Toni Marie Burgess was one of eight people charged with drug-related offenses in January as the result of an undercover police investigation.

Burgess pleaded to informants in October, bypassing the grand jury. Her bond was lowered to $10,000.

Judge Lawrance Miller Jr. rescheduled Burgess’ sentencing until Dec. 29, at 11:30 am.

“I am doing this because Miss Burgess has another matter in this court,” Miller said. “I’m setting this sentencing hearing for a date after that other matter is heard.”

Miller ordered Burgess to report to probation.
